Hmph. It’s been over a year since my last post. Consistent.
I used to take photographs as a profession. I was pretty OK at it too – I won a fairly large competition, people paid me to take their photograph. It was a privilege. I enjoyed it. But – I couldn’t compete with low cost, budget photographers, churning out images doused in brown presets, so – nursing.
Now – I am slowly picking up my camera again. I seemed to have stopped studying hit pause on the study, and I have a little extra time to pursue the creative side of my brain. Maybe if I take photos, the words will flow again. Who knows.
A few weekends ago, the bookends and I were in Lorne for a surf lifesaving carnival. We took some time to explore the river and amble along the beach at dusk. Restorative.
